Dear Host Family,

My name is Khuanruethai, and I am 22 years old from Thailand. I am excited to apply for the au pair position with your family because I love taking care of children and learning about different cultures.

I am currently studying Humanities with a major in History, which helps me assist children with their homework effectively. I have about 8-9 years of experience looking after children aged 1-11, mainly my granddaughter. Creating a safe and nurturing environment for kids is my priority, and I enjoy planning educational and fun activities for them.

I am reliable, patient, and able to adapt easily. I can cook basic meals and am willing to help with light household chores. I speak fluent Thai and am learning English and German to communicate better with your family.

In my free time, I enjoy gardening, especially taking care of my flower garden, and reading books. I would love to share these hobbies with your children and create happy moments together.

Experience

I have been taking care of my niece since she was born, and now she is 11 years old in 2024. I also helped out at a preschool daycare for kids aged 4-6 for three months. It was really fun to join in activities with the children and see how happy they were as they grew. Some kids can be a bit stubborn, which is normal because they're still learning how to think and behave like adults. It's important not to judge them based on our adult perspective.

I believe children aren't heroes and shouldn't be pushed or expected to do too much. As long as they grow up happy and develop normally, that's what matters.
