Letter to the family

Hello!!
My name Milla and I’m 17 years old, live in a small village in Germany and I’m dreaming of living as an AuPair for some time :).

I loved working with children for some time now, especially after I participated in some internships (kindergarten + primary school) and since my mother is a headmaster at a local primary school near me, working with children was always near. The last year and this year (2023/2024) I also worked as a social worker in the Christian youth group for 2 weeks, where my job was to take care of children from ages 6-12 and do fun activities and trips with them and I loved it so much that I can definitely imagine to maybe also work in some kind of job like a teacher :).
I also am looking for an adventure, since I am going to finish school next year (2025)!

I think you should host me because I’m a very open and extroverted person. I love to learn new things and meet new people. I also already have some experience of working with children like I said before, but my biggest reason for living with a host family is that I would love to have a home and people I could always return to and even call my second family ??.

I think I qualify for being an au pair because I not only have experience in working with children but also a lot of fun. I’m looking forward to being a part of a new family spending trips together and playing board games before bedtime for the kids. And I’m genuinely very open to get to know you and your family and spend a nice time in a new environment as an au pair ✨?

Experience

I would like to become an a pair abroad because for me personally travelling and seeing the world was always one of the biggest goals in life. Since I was a couple of months old my parents traveled to foreign countries with me and until now we still do it as often as we can.
I also am not entirely sure of what I’d like to do or study after school ? so I think an au pair year in a new environment would definitely help me finding out who I am and what I’d like to do in the future. ?
