My name is Shanice, I am a British female searching for the perfect match of au pair family.

I really enjoy and find a purpose when working,helping and having an impact in children’s lives as well as family’s. I am aware of the stress everyday families face and am also aware how impactful this can be to a child’s upbringing, therefore making sure they have fun and enjoy their childhood whilst ensuring the parents are able to breathe in order to be the best parents they can be is something I would love to be involved with.

I have experience caring for elderly in their homes and also for a teenager with Down syndrome. I really thrive when able to help and care for individuals who may need some assistance even if it’s just emotionally. I have cared for my younger brother on many occasions, feeding, washing, dressing, getting ready for school, entertaining, educating and find I have a real passion for it. I would love to take this more seriously and try a season abroad being an Au pair/Nanny.

I have a 6 year old brother, he is my best friend. I was 14years old when he was born and with my dad being a single parent, I mothered him the best I could. To this day everyone always compliments how good I am with children and i should take it as a profession. They always say I should host my brother and his friends more often due to the way they seem to settle yet have so much fun..

I am aware that the best way for me to really learn French is by immersing myself in the culture and language. A lot of my close friends who I met in Australia are French so I have a bit more than a basic level and I am really enjoying learning more of this beautiful language.
