Dear host family,
My name is Maya and I am 19 years old (soon turning 20). I live in Stockholm, Sweden, and am fluent in Swedish and English and I would love the opportunity to work as an au pair. I am a happy and energetic person who thrives in social settings. In my free time, spending time with friends and family is very important to me and I also enjoy going to the gym. Besides the gym, I love dancing and have been dancing multiple different dance styles since I was a child. I am currently studying at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and will finish these studies before the summer of 2025. I have a lot of experience working with children and enjoy spending time with them. I am a responsible and caring person who always brings a positive attitude to everything I do. Experience

I want to be an au pair because I love working with children and enjoy learning about new cultures. I also look forward to improving my language skills. My experience with children is that in summer 2023 I worked at a nursery in Stockholm with 2-5 year olds. I took care of them and helped them with all daycare tasks and played with the children both indoors and outdoors. Additionally, in 2022, I completed a two-week leadership course to become a summer camp leader for children there I learned about different developmental stages and needs of children. Alongside my studies, I have also babysat children in my family from the ages 1-10.
