Dear Future Host Family,

My name is Emma, I am a friendly and responsible 18-year-old from Manchester, UK. I’ve recently completed my A-Levels in English Language, Religious Studies, and Ancient History, and I’m now excited to begin a new chapter as an Au Pair.

I want to become an Au Pair because I enjoy working with children and love the idea of experiencing life in a new culture while supporting a family in their daily routines. I’m confident I can bring warmth, reliability, and positive energy into your home.

Experience

I’ve always loved working with children and find it incredibly rewarding to help them grow, learn, and feel supported ever since I was young myself. When I was in school I would always look after the younger children and take on a ‘Big Sister’ role! Additionally, I’m excited about the opportunity to live in another country and learn about a new culture from the inside—while also sharing my own. I’ve always been fascinated with different cultures and languages so the opportunity to immerse myself into one would be wonderful! Lastly, I’m looking forward to creating a close bond with a host family and becoming someone they can truly rely on and trust. :))
