Letter to the family

Hello! I have been lucky and fortunate enough to be living in New Zealand and working with a wonderful family for the past 2 years, and I have loved every second! But as my visa is slowly running out I feel the need to explore and find new adventures!
I love working with families in new countries so I can learn more about the culture and area. I’ve worked as an au pair/babysitter for over 10 years and have loved becoming part of the families and still talk to lots of them now that I’ve gone. I am outgoing, adventurous and love the outdoors. I am responsible, reliable and love to sit on the beach with a good book! I hope to create some lasting memories with new families all over New Zealand.
I love the outdoors and travelling so I think wanderlust is a key part of my personality! I love spending time in nature reading, exploring or just being with friends or family. I’m caring, kind, compassionate and enjoy learning new things when I can. I’m a very loyal person and look froward to making many new friends in the future.

Experience

I have worked with children for about 10 years on and off. I have had multiple jobs working as a live in au pair as well as live out with multiple ages ranging from 0 to 16 years. I've worked as a live in aupair abroad in Australia and loved it. While I do prefer working with younger children because I love watching them learn new things and experience things for the first time, I do have experience working with older children. My childcare experience also involves looking after numerous children at the same time with my biggest family being 3 children with ages ranging from 1 to 8…It was challenging at times but I felt like a big sister and loved every second of it. Working with my most recent family in Taranaki, I also now have some newborn experience which I really enjoyed.

I love being an au pair as it allows me to travel and work while also creating a home away from home. I can make lasting memories and forge bonds that last a lifetime.
