Hello! I'm Sophie from the Sunshine Coast in Australia. I have a passion for hiking, bike riding, traveling, staying active, and even cooking and cleaning! Currently, I'm pursuing a degree in primary education at a nearby university, where I’ve already gained valuable knowledge and hands-on experience in child care. I’m friendly, hard-working, and enthusiastic, and I'm thrilled at the opportunity to embark on this exciting adventure in your beautiful country! I want to become an au pair because it offers a unique opportunity to blend my passion for working with children with my love for travel and cultural exchange. As a primary education student, I’ve gained a solid foundation in child care, and I’m eager to apply and expand my skills in a real-world setting. I currently work as a casual educator at a local before and after school care. I am also a volunteer lifeguard at my local beach. I patrol this beach every Saturday and have gained first aid and CPR qualifications through this experience. This position has taught me how to deal with difficulties. Being an au pair will allow me to immerse myself in a new culture, learn firsthand about different ways of life, and build meaningful connections with a family.
