Hi! My name is Amy, I recently moved to the Vancouver to take a gap year after graduating high school late last year and before I go home to begin university next year. I eventually want to do my masters in high school teaching but not before I do my Bachelor of Arts. As such, I have a passion for learning and teaching and would love to be an involved part in your child's formative education! I have actively and consistently been a Humanities tutor for the past three years for multiple students in varying subjects like English, Art, History, and Literature. I have a history of babysitting and have been around and looked after children ages 5-15 before. I have an involved history with out local basketball association and that is where I was working before I left on top of tutoring. I am currently staying with family in B.C but am simultaneously looking for work be it full-time live in or not. I am looking to explore Vancouver and what better way to immerse myself than make connections with local family and communities. I have never Au Paired before but I am looking to put myself out there! I am an open minded person, animal lover, and generally a curious life long learner! I have always been in to the arts and textile crafts I am a jack of all trades when it comes to hobbies and always open to adopting new ones, I love to read and write and all things culture! Additionally, my older brother and I first hand experience how easy it is to accept a loving nanny into our lives as our hardworking parents adopted ours into our family when my brother and i were around kindergarten aged.
