My name is Sofiia, I’m 22 years old, and I have been studying translation at university. It might sound a bit unusual, but I’ve always been a very disciplined and focused student — so much so that sometimes I forgot how to simply enjoy life. One of the reasons I love spending time with children is that they remind me of what life is truly about: enjoying the little moments and living with curiosity and joy. This is exactly what I hope to rediscover through the Au Pair program.
I have practical experience with childcare as well. While studying, I worked as a babysitter, and I have been helping to look after my younger cousins since we were very close growing up. This has taught me responsibility, patience, and the importance of creating a safe and fun environment for children.
