Hi! My name is Lizzy, and I’m originally from Sydney, Australia, but I’m currently living in the U.S., studying at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. In 2024, while living in Melbourne, I worked as a nanny for three wonderful children—a 1-year-old, a 5-year-old, and an 8-year-old—and absolutely loved the experience.
I’m 21 years old and truly enjoy living in the States, which is why I would love the opportunity to be part of a host family in America. Coming from a big family of six, with three older brothers, I’m very comfortable in lively, energetic households!
A little about me: I study nutrition, love sports, traveling, and spending time at the beach, and I’m a big family person. I would describe myself as bubbly, enthusiastic, creative and patient. I’m also highly organized and take pride in keeping things clean and tidy.
I want to become an au pair and nanny because I have a genuine love for children and would love to continue living in the U.S. while working with a wonderful family. I grew up with an Au pair and she is still a very important figure in my life who I see frequently when I am at home. I hope to foster the same relationship that my Au pair and I had, with my new host family. I can’t wait for the opportunity to bring my energy, care, and experience into a new home!
