Letter to the family

Hi! I'm Mia, I'm 20 years old and I currently live in Australia as an Au pair. I've been here for the better part of the year and this has been the most extraordinary experience of my life and I've many life long friends here, as well as a connection to an amazing family. I was born in London, but moved to Sweden in my teen years. I speak english and swedish fluently. I come from a big family and my two youngest siblings (2&5) have given me plenty of experience living with kids. In my role as an Au Pair in Aus I take care of three kids (9, 4 & Newborn), along with years of babysitting experience I am more than comfortable looking after kids of all ages. I love to read, paint and sew. I also really love outdoor activities, I've taken advantage of the Aussie weather and taken up hiking and swimming. I'm super excited to start my new adventure as an au pair and am looking forward to hearing from you!

Experience

In my role as an Au Pair in Aus I take care of three kids (9, 4 & Newborn). I'm in charge of preparing lunches and getting the kids ready for school/daycare in the morning, drop off and pick up and getting the kids ready for bed. Once or twice a week I do extra babysitting for the parents so they can have some alone time. I'm currently staying in the wonderful city of Sydney. I spend my weekends with friends at the beach or at Art galleries or doing one of the many beautiful hikes in the area! I loved being able to explore a whole new city in this way. Especially feeling like a have a family on the other side of the planet.
