Hello!

My name is Solange, I am 22 years old and I am studying to be a high school teacher. This year I will travel to Italy for 3 months to teach in a school in Rome. While I am there, I would love the opportunity to spend time as an Au Pair for a family. I am one of 5 children, I am very close to my family and really love being in a family environment. Because of this, the opportunity to stay with a family while I am abroad would be a great way to connect me to home and to be involved with another familial experience. I would love to learn Italy's culture in a domestic environment and also share my Lebanese heritage with others.

I am a very responsible, organised and mature young woman. I have worked in a range of different industries including disability support work, babysitting, tutoring and teaching students in primary school and high school. I have a very bubbly personality and I get along with almost anyone as I am easy going and enjoy meeting new people. I have lots of ideas of how to spend quality time with others, especially children, as I have lots of experience with babysitting and nannying.

As a high school teacher, support worker, and nanny in my home town, I have a broad range of experience with children of all ages, from young baby to early adulthood and into senior years. I am very flexible, positive, encouraging and always commit myself to going beyond what is asked of me. I am good at observing needs and doing something about it, I am proactive.
