Hello ! nice to meet you, my name is izzie and i am a 19 year old female from scotland here in australia on a years long working visa, i am currently staying in hostels and exploring the city of sydney with my friend and we have absolutely loved our first month here ! Since i was a younger girl i’ve always loved being around kids at family events or even just social settings, giving them “motherly affection” as i am also the oldest on both sides of my family so i grew up with it allot but absolutely loved it and still do to this day ! i have always wanted to be an au pair as i think its an amazing way of doing something you love and getting to meet new amazing people along the way ! my mum was also an au pair when she lived in Norway and says she’s it’s an experience she will never forget which has determined me to want to do this adventure even more ! The family should choose me as i am a very responsible and independent person and as i’ve stated absolutely love being around children and helping them adapt in so many different ways ! i love doing arts and crafts , being outdoors , going on bike rides, long walks and even just having a chill movie night and i would absolutely love to do all my favourite things with a new family and for them to show me all the things the enjoy doing also ! before i moved out to australia in 2023 i done a health and social care course at college sitting at level 5 , it included a section of child development and childcare which i learned all of the basics of how to look after children from early ages up to early stages of teenage years! i also have been babysitting family , family friends and neighbours children’s since i was 15 so have allot of experience in being left alone in charge with children!
