Natalie (27 / Ms. ), Brazilian, English Teacher living in Brazil looking for Au Pair & Live-in Tutor job in Israel for 2-8 Months

When I was 11 years old I started taking care of my newborn sister. That experience taught me so much. When she was one week-old she was sick and had to stay in the hospital for photo-therapy light to treat newborn jaundice. My duty was to take her to blood exams (that was painful to see! but a necessary procedure for her health), to prepare her formula milk, to feed, to clean, and bath her. I loved all that time of taking care of a tiny precious baby.

As she grew up, around 3 years-old, I taught her patience to listen and serenity to speak, well behaving. I was always taking her to school, to the dentist, to the doctor, to the parks where we met good kids with their pets. I used to play a lot with her, she was always performing roles and recording her plays with puppets.

I believe that reading is a powerful tool that we have to develop a person’s growing ability since childhood, so I used to read infant stories for my sister, and introduced English language to her. Now she is a creative, twelve year-old kid, fluent in English, who wants to be a story maker and do great things in the world.

This experience of raising a child in my life since a so young age helped me to grow on my character, to be responsible and to value people.

Later, on 2019 I started volunteering in my local church, first looking after the kids, playing games with them, preparing meals for them. On 2020 I started at the communication ministry, while worked teaching English for kids and adults in the church's school. Later on August I started giving free online English classes for a lovely 9 year-old girl that really wanted to speak the language but her family was in difficult situation. We finished classes on December, and I am very grateful for this experience. I learned a lot, that was pure joy teaching this girl.

On 2021 I would like to become an Au Pair to explore new places while I can contribute helping a dear family by taking care of their dear children.
