Lia (25 / Ms. ), Brazilian, Freelancer living in Brazil looking for Au Pair job in Germany, Ireland, Netherlands & Sweden for 6-12 Months

Dear host family,
I would like to start by saying that I'm really glad that you chose my letter to read today. It's a pleasure to write to you.
I'm Lia, a 23 year old brazilian girl. I was born and raised in São Paulo, the biggest city in Brazil and, I must say, the most chaotic. Despite this, I think it's a really good city, full of opportunities. I live with my mom, my grandma, my aunt and my uncle. I have a degree in Graphic Design and now I'm enrolled in Psychology studies, even though I don't know for sure if this the right area for me.
I would say that I'm a responsible, friendly, patient, flexible and open minded person. I know I have a lot to learn because we always learn from people that cross our lives, but I guess that I have a lot to offer too! I'm also really affectionate and I want to take care of your kids with love, responsibility and dedication.
I want to be an Au Pair because I have a dream to live outside Brazil since I was really young, like 10 years ago or so. But I've always lived with my family and I thought I was so attached to them that I couldn't just leave them behind and live on my own in a country where I don't know anyone. But in 2019, everything changed. I had the opportunity to spend one month in Germany alone, which was the most perfect experience in my life. I'm still very amazed of how much just one month can change your thoughts so much. So the dream to have a life outside Brazil is bigger than ever.
And beyond all of this, I feel like I didn't find my purpouse in life yet, so I think that this long time outside my comfort zone is going to make some things a little bit clearer in my mind.
In my free time, I like to read, watch TV shows, gather with friends, study languages (the current ones are italian and german), go for long walks and go to parks and museums. I also write poetry sometimes, because I like to express my feelings and thoughts through words, I even have some poetries in English.
I'll do my best to make this experience awesome for me and for my future host family! I would like to be part of the family routine and I'm looking forward to have a great time with the children.
