Moriah (22 / Ms. ), American, Au Pair living in USA looking for Au Pair & Nanny job in American Samoa, Fiji, Guinea, Indonesia & New Zealand for 3-6 Months

Hello future hosts! I am 21 years old and love being able to have new and different experiences. Being a nanny abroad seemed like the perfect opportunity to not only take care of children, but to also have a cultural experience. I have had previous experience in being a nanny before, and loved the opportunity. Growing up, my mom left at a young age. So, being the oldest female child, I took on a "mom" role pretty quickly at the age of 8. My dad worked full time at home so I picked up some of the responsibility willingly. My love of cooking was born as well as caring for my baby brother. I have a natural, strong leadership attribute so taking care of my siblings wasn't scary. At the age of 12, I got my first babysitting gig watching 5 children from ages of 3-10. After that I fell in love with babysitting and have been doing it ever since. In 2019, I got the opportunity to help move a family to Connecticut that I used to babysit in NC. There were 5 children and ages ranged from 2 months to 8 yrs old. I lived with them for a month while taking care of the kids all day to doing loads of laundry and cooking.

Some of my favorite hobbies is to paint and being outdoors hiking. I love to paint and express myself through the flow of the paint with a brush in my hand. I am a fairly active person too and do sports such as track and swim. I love swimming and being in the water. Lastly, in school, I was also in the ROTC program and had a commander position.
