Letter to the family

Hi families!

My name is Isabella, and I am a 24-year-old girl eager to learn German. I am very excited to become an Au Pair for the second time! Living on a new continent, making friends, and having the opportunity to work there will be an amazing experience for me.

My first experience was in the United States, last year I worked as an Aupair for a family in California, I lived with them for five months and took care of a one-year-old baby and a for-years-old little boy, this family also had two older brothers who were like roommates for me. This time was such an open-eye experience for me, I learned a lot of new things that you won't learn in a classroom and met incredible people from around the world.
My group of friends became a group of German-speaking Aupair girls my age, two of them were from Deutschland, and one was from Austria. Here is where my interest in Deutsch begins.
I would like to have a longer experience this time, ranging from eight to twelve months, depending on the family's request. My main goal is to learn German; I want to study the language and immerse myself in this new environment.

Here are a few things about me. I am a nutritionist and I graduated from college a year ago. I love to cook, and if needed, I would be happy to help prepare meals for the children during the week. Additionally, I enjoy sports and can take the kids to any outdoor activities they participate in. I love hiking, going to the gym, running, cycling, and anything that involves staying active.

I don’t smoke, and I’m okay if others choose to smoke at home. I don’t do drugs and only drink alcohol occasionally on special occasions. I eat meat and have no allergies. I’m a morning person, so waking up early to take the kids to school is not a problem for me.

I hope to find a family that aligns with my vision. I want to immerse myself in the new environment, so I am open to learning about your country and culture from you.

Experience

About experience, I have a lot. I took care of a little boy from his three years to his six when I was sixteen to nineteen here in Chile. In addition, I have looked after my cousins for several years. And I have my last year experience with a one-year-old baby and a for-years-old little boy.

I have had a love for kids for as long as I can remember, and I definitely want to become a mom one day.

I speak Spanish because is my native language and I learned English years ago through songs, shows, YouTube, and a lot of US content that we get to see as someone from a Latin country. When I lived in Los Angeles I got to speak English every day, I improved my pronunciation and got to be confident and fluent. My usual mistakes with English are some grammatical mistakes, I'm trying to get better at it!
My goal with being an Aupair again is to live with people who speak German and are open to help me learn through everyday household conversations.
I would love to learn Portuguese, French, Italian, and many other languages. My goal is to learn as much as I can handle.
