Erin (21 / Ms. ), South-African, Child Care Worker living in Netherlands looking for Au Pair & Caregiver for elderly job in Denmark for 10-14 Months

Hi future host family! My name is Erin and I’m 20 years old from port Elizabeth, South Africa!

A big part of my life was my school. I boarded at Woodridge from grade 5 until Matric. The reason being why my school has such an impact on my life isn’t just because of the amount of time that I spent there but because of how it encourages outdoor activities. This has made me an adventurous person who enjoys hiking, cycling, camping and spending quality time with friends and family. From around the end of grade 11 to the end of grade 12 I was in a leadership position called a dorm senior. My responsibility consisted of taking care of the younger girls who stay not only in my dorm but in the hostel itself. I became a older sister figure to most of the girls in the hostel and learnt how to deal with many different personalities and everyday issues.

I am the oldest sibling and cousin in my family which has allowed for me to be a natural when it comes to taking care of children.

I am an au pair because taking care of children and others bring a certain warmth to my heart. I’m an adventurous person and being able to travel and work at the same time is always a win win for me.
