My name is Omari, but I often go by Mari. I am currently a first-year Health Science and Psychology major at Heidelberg University. Originally from the outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia, I grew up in a vibrant, fast-paced environment, but have since adjusted to the quieter, smaller-town atmosphere of the Midwest for my college studies. I come from a close-knit family with two younger siblings, and I’ve always had a passion for supporting and guiding others—whether through volunteering, tutoring, or simply spending time with my family. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering, spending time with friends, and playing pickleball, a sport that’s not only fun but also teaches me about teamwork and adaptability.

I am highly qualified for this position due to my extensive experience working with children and tutoring across multiple subjects. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old and have accumulated years of experience providing care, guidance, and educational support to children of various ages. In addition to my babysitting experience, I have tutored numerous subjects during my time at Heidelberg University, ranging from health science to psychology, which has strengthened my ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
