My name is Jacklin, and I’m a 22-year-old from Romania. I have a natural love for connecting with people, learning about different cultures, and offering help where it’s needed most.
I’m applying to become an Au Pair & participate in a Home Share with Elderly because I believe in the meaningful exchange that comes from living and caring together. I’ve always felt drawn to supporting older generations—listening to their stories, learning from their experiences, and offering companionship and practical help. I also find great joy in cultural exchange and daily life routines, so this program feels like a perfect fit.
I would be honored to be welcomed into your home not only as a helper but also as a respectful and considerate companion. I bring with me genuine warmth, strong communication skills, and a deep sense of responsibility. I’m happy to assist with daily tasks, cooking, shopping, light housekeeping, and especially sharing friendly conversation and company.
What qualifies me for this opportunity is my calm and kind nature, and my strong work ethic. I’ve volunteered for an LGBTQ+ organization which focuses on educating and creating a safe space for young people, and I’ve always been appreciated for my reliability, empathy, and good humor. I also speak Romanian, Hungarian, German and English, and am open to learning your language and customs with enthusiasm.
