Hi there! My name is Shay-Lynn, Canadian, 26y/o

I am writing to express my sincere interest in becoming an Au Pair with your family. I am excited about the possibility of spending time in your home, learning about your culture, and offering my care and support to your children.

The opportunity to become an Au Pair is a natural extension of my love for children and my desire to be part of a family dynamic that allows me to contribute positively. I am excited to immerse myself in a new culture, learn a new language, and build meaningful relationships with your family :)

Experience

Although I don't have formal experience as an Au Pair, I have always had a natural connection with children and a strong desire to help them grow and learn. I’ve spent a lot of time caring for younger family, I also have 2 younger brothers of my own, my aunt is the supervisor at a daycare so I would spent my summers helping her care for the kids when I was younger (16-18) I was at the time. Through these experiences, I’ve learned how to be patient, creative, and adaptable skills that I know will serve me well in an Au Pair role.
