Letter to the family

Dear Family,

I'm Rita, a 27 yo young woman; I'm responsible, calm and experienced! I worked with children for more than three years during my staying in Paris, and I still look after my four little nieces and nephews.

I wish to spent at least six months in the Uk (preferably in London or near it) or in Ireland to improve my language skills!
I'm looking for a caring and welcoming family to offer my loving and attentive care and help.

I finished my Bachelor's degree- Foreign languages and cultures (English and French) here in Rome in March 2016.
The following year I went to Paris as an au pair. I continued working as an au pair and then as a babysitter for the three years I spent there. After a year there, I started a Master (Italian language, literature and trasnlation) at the Sorbonne University. I finished it in December 2020 from Rome. Infact, due to the covid situation in March 2020 I had to go back home to Rome.
I currently speak Italian, my mother tongue, and French. And I have a good level of English as well.

My intention is to devote some time to study and deepen the English language, starting by doing a language course.
I'm flexible as for the working hours, but I need them to be, if possible, arranged in advance so that all is clear and punctual. I'd be happy to share meals or outings, but I'm quite independent and need time to myself to be at my best.

I'm much attentive about the covid situation, so I'm fully vaccinated (recently I had my third dose).

Experience

I have been an au pair for three years in Paris, from april 2017 to april 2020. During this time, I stayed with four different families, taking care of children from 2 to 12 years old.

Here in Italy I am often looking after my four nieces and nefews, who are now 10 months old, 1 year and a half, 3 and 5 years old.

Needless to say, I love children and I spend my best time with them, when we play, both inside and outside, and when I take care of delicate tasks such as baths or meals. Besides, building a trust relationship with children is the most rewarding thing! I put much care and attention to the way I speak and play with the children, to create the best ambiance the children can grow into.

I also love being abroad and discovering new cultures from the inside. There's no better way to learn a language than living in the country and talking to native speakers, while visiting new places!

During this experience, I'm looking forward to build a trustful and transparent relationship with the family, both with the parents and the children, so I can became a trusted help, and so that we can talk sincerely and on an equal footing, expecially if there is any problem or changed need.
