My name is Angelina and I'm 22 years old from Toronto, Canada. I currently live in a student house while I complete my degree but normally I live at home with my mom and Gus, my gentle giant dog. I'm currently in the fourth year of my B.Sc in Life Sciences at McMaster University. I am hoping to finish my degree through an exchange program or online while being abroad.

I enjoy cooking/baking and especially listening to music in my free time. My favourite thing to do with my friends is to attend live music shows or festivals. I also enjoy winding down with a book or good movie.

I've spent the last two summers solo traveling around Europe for a combined 6 months. This experience helped me develop problem-solving skills, independence, confidence, and adaptability. More importantly, being on my own taught me a more compassionate and open-minded view of the world.

Currently I speak english and french fluently. I studied Italian for 4 years and can understand it quite well but have lost most of my vocabulary since. I come from a mixed Portuguese/English family so I can understand Portuguese decently well too. I would certainly like to take a language course or immerse myself in whatever language your family speaks!

Through my time working as a summer camp counselor, I developed a love for working with children. Every day was a surprise but a rewarding experience nonetheless. I hope to use this opportunity to immerse myself in another culture and connect with your family.
