Dear Host Family,

My name is Damzel, and I am a 25-year-old from the Philippines! I am currently living in Spain, working as an English Language Assistant in a high school. My program will end in May 2025, and I am looking for a wonderful host family to join as an Au Pair and Live-in Tutor from June to September.

I am a native speaker of English and Filipino, and I am currently learning Spanish. I believe being an Au Pair is an incredible opportunity to fully immerse myself in Spanish culture and experience daily life firsthand. I love meeting new people, exploring different places, and trying new foods, making cultural exchange something I truly value.

As a person, I am kind, responsible, and a fast learner. I also enjoy organizing and keeping things in order, so helping with household tasks would not be a problem. I am an active and adventurous person—I enjoy sports, outdoor activities, and I know how to ride a bike!

Although I do not have professional childcare experience, I have looked after my younger cousins and truly enjoy spending time with children. I also have experience tutoring primary and high school students in different subjects, so I would be happy to help your children with their studies and schoolwork. My background as a language assistant has given me valuable skills in engaging with young learners, supporting their education, and fostering a fun and positive learning environment.

More than just being an Au Pair, I would love to be like a big sister to your children - someone they can look up to, learn from, and have fun with. I want to create a warm and caring bond with them, ensuring they feel supported, safe, and encouraged in their learning and daily activities.
