Hello, my name is Teresa, although all my friends call me Tesa. I'm from Torrevieja, the city where my adoptive mother is from. I was born in Valencia, and on the day I was born, my biological mother, who is Bolivian, gave me up for adoption. When I was just one month old, my mother adopted me, and today I know how lucky I was, as there are children in the system who can't find a family. I grew up in a very family-oriented environment because I'm lucky enough to live close to my cousins.

I would like to be an Au Pair because it offers the opportunity to take care of children, learn another language, and be in a different environment where I can learn, earn money, and do something as important as work. And this way, I can have a new experience.

I consider myself a good candidate for Au Pair because of how responsible and hard-working I am. From a young age, I started helping my cousin with private lessons as a tutor in the summer, working with children, when I was just 13 years old. I wanted to dedicate myself to primary education for a while, but in the end, I opted for a career in economics. However, even though I'm not dedicated to teaching, since I started teaching, I've grown fond of many children for the little things they would make for me, like drawings or bracelets on any given day when I went to teach them. Those gifts brightened my week.

I'm qualified for the position because I have a friend who was with an English girl who went to her house every summer, and she had a great time with her and at the same time taught her a good level of English. That's why I was motivated to apply.
