My name is Camila, I'm 26 years old, and I have a degree in chemical engineering. I'm Colombian and have been living in France since August 2024 through the Au Pair program. I currently live in Tours and work for a family where I care for two girls aged 6 and 9. My contract ends on July 20, 2025, and I'm looking for a new job opportunity for the summer holidays and for the following year in the same city. My goal is to change my visa to a student visa to take the DUEF French course at the University of Tours and improve my language skills. I'm not looking to stay with the family, only to work according to the established schedule. During the summer, I have full availability, including weekends, and starting in September, I will be able to organize my schedule around my studies.
I've always enjoyed working with children. Being an au pair has given me an enriching experience during which I've developed important caregiving skills, such as patience, creativity, and empathy. I'm motivated by the opportunity to support their growth and learning while sharing moments of fun and discovery. Furthermore, this experience has allowed me to improve my French and immerse myself in French culture, which is a fundamental aspect for me.
