Hello! My name is Kirsty, I’m 21 years old and currently living in Australia on a WHV. I’ve been here for nearly 9 months now & I absolutely love it! I’ve always wanted to be able to live and work abroad in order to experience different cultures and lifestyles, so being able to be an au pair/tutor would be the perfect opportunity! :) I’m a friendly, chatty person so I’m good at building a genuine connection with people of all ages. I’m also always very open to getting involved in whatever activities or experiences come my way.
I also have a TEFL certification (which I can show you upon request!).

Experience

I was an Au Pair for 2 months in Italy with an amazing family - I tutored their 13 year old daughter in English & in turn they helped me with my Italian. I also helped out at her extracurricular English lessons, talking to the class & improving their level. I had such a great experience and I loved getting to experience the true Italian life!
I have always wanted to be able to travel and see the world, but I don’t want my travels to be just a couple ‘gap years’, I’d rather that I can spend most of my time living in different places and countries. I love meeting new people and making new friends so being able to live with a new family would be so interesting and exciting. It would give me a true experience of the country instead of just a tourist view!
