Dear Host Family,

My name is Elisabetta, I am 19 years old and I am passionate about art, cooking and adrenaline-filled activities. I am currently in my last year of high school, and I am very excited to apply as an Au Pair. I have always been curious about children, and I am convinced that the experience of living with a family abroad will allow me not only to learn and improve my English, but also to grow personally and professionally.
My interest in becoming an Au Pair comes from the desire to enrich my life with an international experience that allows me to come into contact with a new culture and enrich my vision of the world. Working with children gives me the opportunity to contribute to their growth, have fun with them and learn something new every day. I am a creative, cheerful and lively person, and I believe that these qualities make me suitable to support a family, helping in the care and education of children in a safe and loving environment.
Even though this will be my first experience as an Au Pair, I have several babysitting experiences and have always taken an active role in involving children in creative activities such as drawing, painting and cooking. I really enjoy cooking and I think that sharing traditional recipes from my tradition can be an interesting way to connect with your family and your culture. Furthermore, I am a person who loves challenges and adrenaline-filled activities, such as outdoor sports, cycling, or trying new experiences that challenge me.
This experience as an Au Pair will be the first step towards my academic future. After spending time with your family, my goal is to graduate in International Public Policy and Leadership at THUAS (The Hague University of Applied Sciences). I think that the experience abroad will help me to broaden my horizons and develop the skills needed to pursue a career in public policy and international leadership.
