Letter to the family

Dear host family,

my name is Inga, I am 18 years old and I live together with my family in Trier. In March 2021 I will finish school and before starting my studies I would like to spend some time as an Au pair in a foreign country.
When I was 15 I started to take care of children in two different families. The kids were aged between four and ten years. I used to play with them, read them a book or brought them to bed. In addition to that, I had a two week work experience in a primary school and I have supported the leader of a children sport group for three years.
Additionally, it is important for me to learn a lot about the children and build up a relationship to my host family. I would like to get a part of my host family and see how the kids develop and grow up. Therefore, I would like to get to know the life in another country and as well the culture and traditions, so that I have a good knowledge of the country. Another aspect is that I want to improve my English skills during this time.
