I’ve experienced quite a lot of babysitting through the years. I’ve babysat my neighbours’ children a few times (they were 8 and 10 years old) and my baby sister for most of my childhood. When I lived in England I used to help out by watching the kids in kindergarten (they were about 2 or 3 years old).
2 years ago I worked with a summer camp program where me and some other teenagers would take care of kids (ages 5 to 12) and entertain them with fun games and activities that we would come up with ourselves.
And in September 2023 I started working for a French family that has three kids age 2, 4 and 6 and my job consisted in taking them to preschool in the mornings and picking them up at around 4 pm and helping them bathe and occasionally cook for them and assist the parents with dinner (if needed I can provide references). On the parents date night I would take care of the kids and put them to bed (brush their teeth, sign a lullaby and read a book)
This summer I also worked for a Spanish family, their girls were 5 and almost 10. And my main task was to teach them English but also play with them and help the older sister with homework.
