Letter to the family

Hello!
My name is Lukas, I am 19 years old and currently living in a town called Växjö in southern Sweden. Right now I am studying my last year Social Science on the Katedralskolan in Växjö. Att the same time I am focusing on my Music, playing the piano and singing. Music is a very big part of my life and I love being a part of different Musicals acting, teaching and directing. Att the same time doing sports has also been an important part of my life. I have been playing soccer most of my life and during the past years also a bit of tennis.

Both my parents are Swedish and work with photography and teaching. Because my father works as a photographer in Vienna I was born and raised in the wonderful city in Austria. For 13 years I lived in the city going to Austrian school and having mostly Austrian friends. The time in Vienna has not only given me the German language fluently but also a lot of cultural knowledge of living in two different countries.

Experience

I would like to be an Au Pair because I think it would help me getting to know new cultures and new people. But most of all I hope I will learn a lot of French. As I said I am currently studying French att school trying to speak more fluently. I think that living abroad and helping a family mostly talking French would help me a lot in the process of learning the language.

I also love being with kids and teaching. Therefore I think that I could be a suitable help in a household where help is needed. For example with all kind of homework, learning German, English or Swedish, with piano or singing, sports or just overall playing and having fun together.
