Hi! My name is Antonia, I’m 22 years old and originally from Finland. Swedish is my native language, and I also speak Finnish. I’m a positive, hardworking person who loves trying new things and meeting new people.

I have one year of experience working in a bilingual (Swedish-Finnish) daycare with children aged 9 months to 3 years. I absolutely loved my time there and discovered how much joy and fulfillment working with children brings me.

Currently, I split my time living and working on a passenger ferry every other week. While it’s been a unique and exciting experience, I’ve realized how much I miss working with children and want to combine that passion with the adventure of living abroad.

I believe I’m a great fit for your family because of my hands-on childcare experience, my Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Development with a focus on Pedagogy, and most of all, my genuine love for children and eagerness to learn and grow.

Experience

Becoming an au pair and living abroad is a dream for me because it combines two of my biggest passions, which are working with children and experiencing new cultures. I’ve always loved connecting with kids and supporting their growth. Being an au pair would allow me to do that every day while also immersing myself in a new country, learning its language, traditions, and way of life.

I also see this as a chance for personal growth. Living abroad and being part of a new family will challenge me in the best ways, for example helping me become more independent, flexible, and culturally aware. It’s not just about traveling, but about building real relationships and gaining meaningful life experience that I know will stay with me forever.
