Letter to the family

Dear host family,

My name is Andrea and I am currently studying Primary Education. I also completed a Vocational Training Degree in Early Childhood Education, during which I did internships with children aged 0 to 3. In addition, I have worked as a nanny with children between 2 and 12 years old, gaining over 500 hours of experience.

I would love to become an Au Pair or nanny because I truly enjoy spending time with children, helping them in their daily routines and creating a safe, caring and fun environment. I see this as a great opportunity to grow both personally and professionally, to learn about new cultures and to continue preparing myself for my future as a teacher.

I consider myself a responsible, caring, flexible and committed person. I would be very happy to become part of your family and take care of your children with love and dedication.

Experience

Although I haven’t worked as an Au Pair yet, I do have experience as a nanny taking care of children aged 2 to 12. I’ve worked with several families, helping with snacks, homework, playtime, and daily routines. In addition, I did internships with children aged 0 to 3 as part of my Vocational Training in Early Childhood Education. This gave me pedagogical tools and the confidence to care for very young children.

I would love to become an Au Pair abroad because I want to live a new experience, discover another culture from the inside, and improve my language skills. Taking care of children is something I’m passionate about and it's part of my vocation as a future teacher. Being an Au Pair would allow me to keep learning, grow personally, and give the best of myself to a family who trusts me.
