Letter to the family

I am Laura Menchón, a 27-year-old girl who is enthusiastic about spending time caring for children in a foreign country. For more than a decade, I have been in contact with children, as my first jobs were taking care of children ages 0-6 years old. In order to fulfill my passion for children, I studied a vocational training program in pre-school education, which I followed with a Bachelor's degree in Primary Education with a specialty in special needs children. After completing my undergraduate degree, I was motivated to learn more about children with special needs, which led me to pursue a master's degree in psychopedagogy in order to be able to assist children with various educational needs.

As part of my professional experience, I have also worked for three years as a support teacher for individual students at home, assisting them with school assignments as well as special needs such as dyslexia, speech disorders, or autism. In my fifth year as an English teacher in a private center, I work with students of all ages (children, teenagers, and adults) as well as children with special educational needs.
