Dear Future Host Family,

My name is Sanni and I am an 18-year-old from Finland, excited about the opportunity to find an au pair Family!

I’m a positive, energetic, and kind-hearted person who loves working with children and spending time outdoors. Growing up with three younger brothers and one younger sister, I’ve always enjoyed spending time with my siblings, and it’s one of the things that inspired me to pursue work with children.

A bit about me:
I’m very creative, and I love coming up with fun, unique games to play, keeping kids entertained, and helping them learn and develop.

Sports have been a huge part of my life. For eight years I trained in competitive gymnastics. I’ve also played tennis, cheerleading, swum, and generally tried every sport I could! Right now, I’m passionate about competitive dance and enjoy skiing a lot during the winter months. Sports have taught me discipline, teamwork, and the importance of staying active—lessons I would love to share with your children.

In addition to my love for sports, I am deeply connected to nature. I absolutely love hiking, traveling, and spending time outdoors—especially at the beach! I think it’s important to encourage kids to appreciate nature and explore the world around them.

I have experience working with children as I have been a responsible coach in gymnastics and dance for various age groups (3-4, 5-6, 7-9, 10+). I’ve loved seeing the children grow and progress, and it’s one of the reasons I’m excited to be an au pair. I’ve also had a hands-on experience during a work placement in a daycare center. Children gravitate toward me, and I find joy in helping them grow, play, and learn. In 2023, I have also spent five weeks in California on a language trip. During that time I lived with a host family and it was amazing!

I am also working on getting my driver’s license, which should be ready soon, so I can help with transportation.

I’m available to start as an au pair from the end of the may to the start on july!
