As a sister to three amazing siblings I know the role as an older - but also an younger sister. Coming up in a quircky, loud and loving home with a big family, I am very used to have a lot of people around me - no matter if it´s only family or also stangers visiting.
With the age of 12 I began babysitting for my neighbours in the village I grew up in to earn money besides school. Currently I am studying Social Work to get my Bachelorsdegree and still work as a babysitter/nanny for three different families besides my studytime. Two years ago I also started working as an integretative worker in a kindergarden and totally love the work there.
All in all you could say that I have kids around me all the time - in my job, my freetime and my family. Since I love to work with children and to apply my theroretical pedagogic knowledge, I really thought about going abroad my whole time studying Social Work. Not only to see the beautiful landscapes in different parts of the worlds, I´m super interested in the general living. How is family life somewhere else? How do kids grow up in other parts of the world? How can I have an Impact to support families and also learn about other cultures? The list goes on ;)
