My name is Abigail, and I’m writing to express my interest in becoming an au pair with your family. I grew up in a bilingual world, with English parents while living in France. This unique upbringing gave me a deep appreciation for different cultures and languages, and I would love the opportunity to help transmit the French language to your children. I consider myself a creative person who enjoys drawing, learning new things, and exploring the world around me. Indeed traveling has always been a big part of my life, and it has taught me to be open-minded and adaptable. After starting university, I realized that the course I chose wasn’t the right fit for me, and I felt the need for a fresh, meaningful experience this year. I would like to become au pair to put in practice the qualities I have developed over several years of babysitting and, hopefully, to learn new skills in a different country and culture. Being an au pair is the perfect way to combine two things I truly love: working with children and traveling to explore new places. This experience will not only allow me to contribute positively to your family’s daily life, but also help me grow personally by immersing myself in a new environment, meeting people from different backgrounds, and embracing new perspectives. I believe I would be a great fit for this position because I’m patient, reliable and flexible. I’m a sociable person who genuinely enjoys being part of a family dynamic, wether it’s playing with the kids, helping with their activities, or simply being there and make things run smoothly. Thanks to my experience caring for children, I’m comfortable creating a warm, safe environment while keeping things fun and engaging.
