My name is Carla and I am studying the last year of a double degree in early childhood and primary education with an emphasis on English. I love my degree, but I will finish it this June.

I am twenty-four years old and I am from a city next to Barcelona; I love children and I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher. Currently, I am an English teacher but also a robotics teacher.

I have been with all ages, from a nursery school, to kindergarten children in a highly diverse school, religious school in primary school, to a Dutch international school in Eindhoven. I have taught different areas, being a professional in English and robotics, also enjoying languages in general. Next year I would love to be an au pair. It wouldn't be my first time!

When I was 18, I spent six months as an au pair in Manchester and I loved it; I had a very good experience. I was in charge of two children aged one and three, and with a single mother, and we became a family of 4. I will always remember that experience with much love.

Next year I want to start an online master's degree that would take up two/three hours of my time a day, and the rest of the time I can spend with the children.
