Letter to the family

My name is Marc, I am 26 years old, and I am very excited about the opportunity to become part of your family as an Au Pair. Caring for children has always been a meaningful part of my life, and I believe my background and experiences make me a great fit for this role.

In 2021, I lived in Cambridge for four months, where I cared for a one-year-old girl. This experience allowed me to develop hands-on childcare skills, such as changing diapers, managing routines, and ensuring her safety and well-being. Unfortunately, I had to return home due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since then, I pursued my studies and recently graduated with a degree in Political Science. Alongside my academic journey, I gained professional experience working in public service roles, including positions as a postal worker at Correos and as a trainee police officer. These roles strengthened my sense of responsibility, organization, and adaptability—qualities that I believe are invaluable when caring for children.

Now, I am eager to embrace a new chapter in my life. Becoming an Au Pair is a wonderful opportunity to immerse myself in a new culture, further improve my English, and gain a fresh perspective. I also see it as a chance to prepare for the future, as I aspire to settle into a stable role in public service back home and eventually start a family of my own.

Experience

I have previous experience caring for children, both in my personal and professional life. In 2021, I had the opportunity to live in Cambridge for four months, where I cared for a one-year-old girl. I would like to become an Au Pair abroad because I see it as a chance to immerse myself in a new culture, improve my English, and grow personally by stepping out of my comfort zone.
