Dear host family,

My name is Alba, I'm 16 years old and I'll be 17 in September. I was born in 2008. I live in Vila-Rodona, a small town near Valls in the province of Tarragona, in a house with my mother, Susanna, and my grandmother, Maria Dolors.

I'm currently in my first year of Bachibac, a bilingual program in Catalan and French. Thanks to this program, I'm taking some subjects in French, and this will allow me to obtain a double degree in high school and baccalaureate.

I'm interested in becoming an Au Pair because, for Bachibac, I have to undergo language immersion to improve my language skills. I've decided to choose the opportunity to live this experience for the first time. I can also offer to teach Spanish or even Catalan, which is my native language.

I consider myself a fairly responsible person when it comes to housework. I really like children, as my friends in town and I always organize activities so the little ones can have a great time too.
I'm a very curious person; I always like learning new things and, above all, traveling. I've had the opportunity to visit quite a few places and always enjoy them as if it were the first time.
I haven't had many experiences living outside my country alone for more than a week or two. In school, I had the opportunity to go to Poland for a week to live with a family there, and in high school, I also went to Ireland for a week. They were unforgettable trips because I learned to live alone and away from my family, even if it was for a short time. So, I also believe I'm someone who doesn't have a hard time adapting to situations outside my home.
