Letter to the family

Hello,
As I am studying communication remotely for the next 2 years, I am looking to use my experience to benefit a family. During my studies, I worked a lot with children but also with people in nursing homes. I like to share my passion for cooking. I find that after a long day there is nothing more comforting than a good meal with people you love and that is the kind of satisfaction I would like to provide. I would describe myself as someone who is always kind. I am very calm and patient even in difficult situations. I adapt very quickly and I am very independent. For me there is no problem without a solution so I try to stay optimistic in all cases. I also like to discover new things to do or see. My friends consider me a trustworthy person because I really like to listen and advise.

Experience

Before I was old enough to work, I always took care of children. In fact, since my cousin was born in 2013, I often take care of her and her recent little sister. My first job was for a primary school where I had to watch the children during lunchtime and one full day during the week for 8 months. Then I started higher education where I alternated my classes with a position as a saleswoman and a recreation center leader. It was my best job because I had to come and take care of the children 3 hours a day every week and every day during school holidays. I had to organize sports, cultural and artistic activities on a specific theme. For the Olympic Games, we had medal-shaped cookies all together. I want to become an au pair because taking care of children has become something very natural. I like to pass on my knowledge and know-how. But also this experience will allow me to enrich myself culturally by making me discover a country in a more unique way.
