Letter to the family

Hi! My name is Maria, I'm 19 years old and I live in Vinalesa, a small town near Valencia. I'm studying Food Science and Technology at the University of Valencia, and I consider myself a hardworking person.

The reason why I want to be an Au Pair is because it will be a pleasure to know more about other counties. I want to meet new people, new places and cultures, live a unique experience and improve my English. I also think that living with another family in a country that I don't know, will increase my personal background and I'll learn a lot.

I'm a really responsable girl and also so creative so I think that could help me to keep the kids busy with some games or crafts.

Experience

As for my experience with children, I am part of an entity called ‘Scouts’ and we go camping in the mountain every summer (two weeks in August), apart from being with them every Saturday for two hours. There, I am taking care of children from 9 to 14.

Also, summer 2020 I was an Au Pair in Slovenia for the first time. I was taking care of 3 kids (1, 3 and 4 years old) during the summer holidays and it was amazing. I also want to repeat the experience this summer, but I just can be an Au Pair for around 2 months because I still studying at the University.
