Dear Host Family,

My name is Maria Eduarda, I am 21 years old and I am from Espírito Santo, Brazil. I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from UFES and I have a great passion for learning about new cultures, caring for children and creating meaningful connections with people around the world.

I have always enjoyed being around children — over the years, I have taken care of my younger cousins ​​and gained a lot of experience helping with their daily routines, schoolwork, meals and playtime. These moments have taught me to be patient, responsible and creative when dealing with little ones, and have made me realize how much I enjoy watching them grow and develop.

I want to become an Au Pair because I see it as a unique opportunity to combine my love for children with the desire to experience a new culture. Living with a host family in the United States will allow me to improve my English, experience new lifestyles and contribute positively to the family’s daily life.

I believe you should host me because I am a kind, mature, responsible and easy-to-adapt person. I take my responsibilities seriously, I care deeply about children, and I would do my best to be a positive and reliable presence in their lives—someone they can count on and have fun with every day.

My previous experience with children, combined with my dedication and ability to learn, make me a prepared and enthusiastic candidate for this Au Pair experience.
