Dear Host Family,

My name is Beatriz, I am 23 years old, and I have a degree in Psychology. From a young age, I’ve always had a special affection for children, which led me to seek experiences that combined care, empathy, and human development. During my academic and professional journey, I had the opportunity to work with children with disabilities, which taught me valuable lessons about patience, active listening, and being sensitive to each child’s unique needs.

I decided to apply for the au pair program because I see it as a unique opportunity for personal growth, cultural exchange, and to deepen my passion for child care. I have a genuine interest in learning about new cultures, and I believe living with a host family abroad will be an enriching experience—for me and for the children I’ll be caring for.

I believe I would be a great fit for your family because I am responsible, caring, and truly committed to children’s well-being. Experience

I have a degree in Psychology. I worked at a school caring for children with disabilities, where I learned to respond to different needs with sensitivity and respect. I also participated in social projects focused on child development, where I was able to apply my knowledge and deepen my passion for caring for and educating children.

In addition to my professional experience, I grew up as the middle child in my family. I took care of my younger sister, Isabela, and learned a lot from my older brother, Brendo. This family dynamic taught me from an early age the importance of responsibility, empathy, and looking out for others—values I carry with me in everything I do.

I chose to join the au pair program because I want to combine my background and experience with the dream of living a rich and meaningful cultural exchange. I believe that caring for children in a different country will be a unique opportunity for both personal and professional growth, and I’m excited to contribute with dedication, kindness, and responsibility.
