Dear host family, My name is Thais and I am 22 years old. I was born and live in the city of Vitória da Conquista, in Brazil. I live with my mother, father and sister. My parents are great role models for me. Both are very loving and we really enjoy spending time together at home. I can describe myself as an open-minded, calm, caring, honest, flexible and very organized girl. I like music and reading. In my spare time, I like to go shopping and I love watching movies. I like all kinds of sports as I am very active. I always liked to study.

Experience

I hope that becoming an Au Pair in the United States will help me to speak English fluently, which is necessary for my new career. I really think this exchange is an ideal path for someone like me, who loves children and is so focused on achieving one goal: improving my English. I guarantee that my application will show that I am truly experienced with children.
I believe that children can teach us many things like humility, simplicity and honesty, which are things I learn from them every day. What makes me the most happy is when I can put a smile on a child's face.
