Hi, possible future host family!

My name is Karel and I’m 25 years old guy from Czech Republic. I graduated college in 2023 and since then I’ve been working with kids. Back home I used to work as an educational assistant in our local library and as a social worker in a club for teenagers and young adults. In September 2023 I became a bro pair in USA and so far I’ve been here for almost 17 months ending my second year in October 2025. I love traveling and discovering new cultures and places and learn about people and their lifestyles.

I love being an au pair because it’s an amazing mixture of doing all the things that I enjoy the most in my life.
I’ve already experienced how rewarding and challenging this program is and I believe that after my reunion with my family and friends back home in Czech Republic I will be ready to continue with this adventure at a new place with new people!

I believe I’m a really good choice for a family with active schedule and kids who enjoy outdoors as well as cozy days watching some movies or shows. I graduated as a “social worker” and have a lot of experience with kids from all sorts of age groups and backgrounds. I know how to handle difficult situations and am emphatic, respectful, considerate and good at communication. I’ve already gone through this experience and lived with two amazing host families in USA first year taking care of 10 years old boy and the second year 7 year old boy, 12 year old girl and 14 year old boy. I’ve been speaking English every day for last 17 months.

I love to be active, go to a gym, sport, do creative activities and games with kids, I can cook, bake and love to be organized.
