Dear future host family,

My name is Sandra, I’m 24 years old and I come from the beautiful country of Slovenia. I’m a positive, warm-hearted person with a big smile and an open spirit. At the moment, I’m working as a personal assistant to a young woman with physical disabilities — a role that brings me a lot of joy and purpose. In addition, I occasionally work as a receptionist in a fitness center.

Besides work, I’m passionate about yoga, enjoy reading, drawing (especially abstract when inspiration strikes), and staying active through sports and cooking. I like being surrounded by people and love the energy of community, yet I also value moments of calm and time alone.

I’ve always felt a special connection with children. Their sincerity, playfulness, and the way they experience each moment so fully is something I truly admire. Being around children brings so much joy and presence into everyday life — they have the beautiful ability to brighten a day with just one honest word or a simple laugh. I believe we have so much to learn from them, and this is one of the main reasons I would love to become an Au Pair and Nanny.

Although I originally studied mathematics, I’ve recently decided to take a longer break from university to focus on another path that deeply excites me — psychotherapy. My wish is to combine this interest with my passion for yoga and eventually work in a field that connects both therapy and mindful movement. During this time, I see becoming an Au Pair as a beautiful and meaningful experience that allows me to support a family, spend time with children, and grow personally and professionally through cultural exchange.

I believe I would be a good match for your family because I am responsible, kind, and open to new experiences. I’m always ready to learn — whether it's languages, practical skills, or just small everyday things that enrich life. I find joy in helping others and facing new challenges with curiosity and a positive attitude.
