Letter to the family

Dear host family,

with this letter I would like to give you a first impression of me and my life.

My name is Christin and I am 20 years old.
I live with my parents and my little sister Sara (5) in Germany.
In my free time I like to spend time with my friends, go bowling, play mini golf, ride my bike and many other outdoor activities, but I also like to read, cook/bake and watch movies (mostly action and comedy).

Now I would like to tell you a little bit about my childcare experience. I got most of my experience from taking care of my sister. In the morning I get her ready for kindergarten, dress her, do her hair, brush her teeth, make her breakfast and pack her lunch (I love being creative with her lunch boxes!!!). After I drop her off at kindergarten, I go to school.
After that, we go to the playground, which is on the way home. While I cook, she usually takes a siesta. My parents are often home at this time. We all eat together and my mom puts her to bed.

I used to babysit a lot of kids in my neighborhood. I usually pick them up from kindergarten together with my sister or their parents bring them to our house. I take care of 2-3 kids at a time so I can always keep an eye on them.
We do many fun things like jumping on trampoline, going to the beach, painting, playing games like twister, memory, I spy and many more.

I was also an intern in a kindergarten in my city. I worked with another intern and a kindergarten teacher in a group of 15 children.
I quickly became an older sister to everyone, including children from other groups because of my open and friendly personality.

I have also worked in animation before as a part-time job.
Here are some activities I did with the children:
- Baking
- Playing tag
- Playing hide and seek
- Water fights
- Playing mini golf
- Building sand castles
- Painting and crafts
- Painting faces

I would like to come to Spain to learn Spanish and in the meantime teach children either English or German, languages in which I have a good level.

I would love to help you with housework.
