Letter to the family

I am very interested in helping with looking after your children. I am enthusiastic, kind-hearted and passionate about caring for children and I think this would be the perfect opportunity to develop my childcare skills further. I am British and live in England but I have studied French all of my life and will continue at university. I will leave school in June and I will take a year to work and travel before going to university. Therefore, I would love to help you with your children in order to improve my French and earn money for travelling. I have lots of experience with babysitting young children and babies, including sporting activities - horse-riding, tennis, swimming and I always prioritise the safety and well-being of the child.

Experience

I have completed a variety of childcare duties, with children aged from 6 months to 10 years old. These tasks include playing with the children, reading with them, getting them ready for bed, helping with bathtime, assisting the children horse-riding and swimming. As well as, babysitting in the evenings. I would love to experience being an au-pair in France to experience an authentic french culture and the differences of the french education system, whilst nuturing children of another language and offering to teach English.
