Letter to the family
Dear Host Family!
My name is Aleksandra, I am 19 years old, and I come from Warsaw, Poland. I believe that this program will allow me to combine my love for children, my passion for learning languages, and my desire to travel and explore new places!
I have always enjoyed spending time with children, and I believe that my patience, creativity, and dedication make me well-suited for this role. Growing up with a younger brother and cousins, I have had many opportunities to care for and engage with children of various ages. Additionally, I have gained valuable experience working with children through organizing art workshops and summer camps, where I led activities focused on music, arts, and theatre. These experiences helped me develop a strong connection with children, and I am confident that I can create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for the kids in your family.
I am particularly interested in becoming an au pair because I love helping children grow and develop in a positive way. I am excited to share my own culture while learning about yours, and I see this opportunity as a chance to improve my language skills while building lasting memories with your family. I would love for the children to remember their time with me fondly, and I am committed to ensuring that they feel safe, comfortable, and happy in my care.
One of the qualities I value most is open communication, and I believe that this is key to resolving any challenges that may arise during my stay. I am confident that with patience and understanding, I can adapt to any differences in culture and approach, and I am eager to work together with your family to ensure a smooth and positive experience.
In addition to my experience with children, I have other skills and qualifications that I believe will be beneficial. I hold a certificate in leisure time animation, also I am interested in first aid and care. I was part of a psychology-medical class in high school for four years, which gave me insights into care for a young person. While my Italian is still developing, I have been studying it for six months, and I am excited to practice and earn speaking skills during my time with your family.
I hope to stay as an au pair for as long as you need me, as I see this as a valuable step in my personal growth and in my future career plans. After completing my time as an au pair, I would like to pursue a career as a flight attendant, but first, I want to focus on providing the best care possible for your children and becoming a trusted member of your household!
